I am working on developing new ways of delivering signaling pathway modulators to the lung epithelium in living organisms. I use lung specific surface proteins to target T cells to the lung epithelium and deliver payloads that modulate regeneration after injury. I hope to learn which signaling pathways are important in lung regeneration and someday to develop new therapeutics for lung diseases like ARDS and pulmonary fibrosis.
